Please join us on SUNDAY, February 7, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 12 Noon in the Fuller Conference Center at OSV. We will present an overview of the Village and interview all applicants for seasonal positions in Museum Interpretation. Authentically costumed interpreters are responsible for bringing early 19th century New England history to life for a diverse audience using dynamic techniques such as discussions, demonstrations, escorted tours, participatory acticvities and historical re-creations. Training is provided. Requirements: Equivalent of one-year of college plus three months experience working with the public; strong communication and customer service skills; availability to work 3-5 days per week, April through October, with regular weekends. Physical demands: May be required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; may be required to lift and move up to 10 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds).
