Located in Ware, the easternmost town in Hampshire County, the Ware
River News has been the paper of record in the area since its founding
by Ruben Capron Oct., 1887.
The Ware River News provides complete coverage of town government,
sports, schools and local events in the towns of Ware, Warren, Hardwick,
and West Brookfield and also offers local editorials and columns and
a lively op ed page. The News has won numerous awards for spot news,
